Side Beck Grange occupies a lovely position in the centre of Addingham, a thriving and sought after Wharfedale village which is steeped in history and set within a conservation area on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. 

Addingham lies to the west of llkley, surrounded by beautiful open countryside as highlighted by the recent Tour De France coverage, in fact the Tour passed through the village twice, they liked it so much! 

This vibrant village is full of charm, history and character and offers a variety of shops, amenities, pubs, golf and cricket clubs. 

Shopping and eating out


As well as the variety of village shops, more extensive, everyday facilities, can be found in the thriving spa town of llkley which is located three miles away.

It has a wide range of first class amenities including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and sporting facilities. It boasts restaurants such as the famous Box Tree and Bettys Cafe, Filmore & Union, The Moody Cow, and Friends of Ham.

Addingham Primary School, rated Good by Ofsted, is within easy walking distance.

There are a number of good secondary schools in the area. Ilkley Grammar school is within 15 minutes drive of Side Beck Grange. 

Transport


Local bus services to surrounding towns are available from the village's Main Street and for the commuter the railway station in llkley provides a regular commuter service to Leeds and Bradford city centres, which in turn provide links to the National Rail and Coach Network. Leeds Bradford Airport is 12.5 miles from the centre of Addingham.
